The Junior Maths Mastery Challenge (JMMC) is an exciting opportunity for schools, parents, and students to engage in a vibrant mathematics competition that celebrates mastery and fosters a love for learning. Inspired by the renowned Singapore Math approach, the JMMC is designed to empower young learners and help them soar to new heights in the world of mathematics. 27 - 29 November, 2026 (90 minutes, one of the day, depending on your location)
Competition Mode:
Physical question paper at your nearest SAM center, or your school (if your teacher is hosting at school)

Format:
The JMMC consists of 7 levels: Kindergarten and Primary School Year 1 to Year 6.
Kindergarten students will answer 15 multiple-choice questions in 45 minutes.
Primary School Year 1 and Year 2 students will answer 25 multiple-choice questions in 60 minutes.
Primary School Year 3 to Year 6 students will answer 20 multiple-choice questions and 5 free-response questions.
The duration is 60 minutes for Year 3 and 90 minutes for Year 4 to Year 6.

Award: Individual Top scorers will receive Gold (top 5% Globally), Silver (next 10% Globally), Bronze (next 15% Globally) and Merit (next 20% Globally) awards. Others will each get an e-Certificate of Participation.
Top three global scorers in each grade level will be inducted to the JMMC Hall of Fame and top gold winner awards.

The Rationale of JMMC

Drawing inspiration from Singapore Maths, we recognize the enthusiasm among primary students to compete in mathematics contests. Awards

Top Global: Top three global scorers in each grade level will be inducted to the JMMC Hall of Fame and top gold winner awards.
The winners will receive certificate of achievement and a medal. Winners can request to courier the certificate and medal to home. Cost of packaging and courier is not included.
Others will each get an electronic copy of Certificate of Participation.

Please pay before you register. Registration fee is RM70 per student. Online transfer to Hallmark Approach Sdn Bhd (Maybank 5186 1700 0715). Make sure you write the FULL student name in the payment description. Unidentified online payment will not be refunded.

Participant competition level in JMMC 2026 will be based on the participant's school grade.
Sample papers will be available for students.
Refund Policy: Refund is permissible if you cannot attend the competition on the scheduled date due to health condition, and the replacement date is not available. You must produce a valid medical certificate to request the refund of the participation fee.
